MY,, what a read, and what a MAN ?
If only the people of Abingdon or even Oxford had known what they had in their midst at the time it would have been a different story.
The man was an unsung hero and no doubt unadmired for what he was, a simple labourer, but as people found out, he was almost super-human for his size !
As always, Hindsight is a wonderful thing, and it would be nice to hear of anyone who had a bad name for this man before he "came out" so to speak.
