Very sorry to hear of this loss of property and the follow up loss. However I would like to say that as a resident of Wootton please do come back and visit the church and village again. We have excellent walks, shops, take away, pubs, community centre and Church. But of course as with all areas there will always be the opportunist passing by looking for things to take that are not their's. Our village is absolutely no different to anywhere else in Abingdon area in that respect so please feel you can come back again in the future.
