Absolutely scandalous, I hope your Mum gets at least some of her things back through eagle-eyed passers by.
Your situation reminded me of this: A man's Raliegh racing cycle had obviously been 'borrowed' (stolen) over the Christmas period... It was left behind the McTimoney Chiropractic College in Kimber road, Still there this morning ! Don't know who to report it to, the police don't care about crime or victims of crime and I don't trust them at all, so the bike will stay there unless the owner (or some poor, needy, socially inept thief) reads this.
my mum was visiting st peters church at wootton, cumnor and somebody smashed
> her car window and stole her handbag,
> it contained her purse, glasses, mobile phone, diary, umbrella etc etc
> etc, it was a black leather handbag, we know they drove down wootton road
> away from the church and turned left at the harley garage and up the hill
> to sainsburys heyford hill where they used her cards,
> this took place two days before xmas, please if you cycle or walk dogs
> please can you keep an eye out for any contents that may of been thrown in
> the bushes/ditches, also please check around sainsburys carpark etc,
> thanks to these people, she lost her grandsons birthday money and her new
> mobile phone which was a birthday gift!! these people totally ruined our
> xmas, im just glad to say the police are now dealing with this, please
