Great pub - often call in ....
Food smells and looks good but the menu closed by the time I usually get in there :(
Just a shame that they weren't open all day on saturday 1st March (as advertised)- i had turned up especially at 1730 after a trip out from Blewbury - but hey never mind the North Star was open and fantastic :)

love the fox visit at least 3 times a week for lunch and no complaints, food brilliant, staff always friendly and very reasonably priced. Love the place really nice atmosphere.

I'd like to point out that as a regular to the fox the place was redecorated not so long ago and is a much nicer place to go now. Even with a nice sheltered area outside for smokers.
The food as ever is excellent with probably the largest menu around and monday nights is still the night to be there as one of the busiest and biggest pub quizes in the county takes place there with a jackpot currently standing at around the £200 mark!
