Just reading some of the previous comments on the new white lines. One comment in the Abingdon Herald struck me as particularly amusing, namely: 'The temporary lines were introduced on Wednesday for drivers to familiarise themselves with the idea'. Since it's just taken me 40 minutes to travel from Appleford to Radley I've had plenty of time to familiarise myself with the new system! Quite simply it's a disaster. If it continues, the only people who will visit Abingdon Town Centre are those who are within walking distance. Perhaps this is the idea. However, can Abingdon Town Centre survive on this commerce alone?
