came in with a party of 6 for a meal steaks were only ok beer though tasty seemed to be shy of the top of the glass when first poured every time we orderd

Went over last night just to see what bands were booked as I had had good reports of the Sunday evening live music.
probably the best this pub has been for years. yes there is a young feel to the place but in a pleasant way - maybe the previous poster caught them on a bad night? Not tried the food yet but plenty of friends have and the reports are good.
One member of the bar staff seemed a bit 'offish' (not the bearded long haired guy). But seems a major improvement from previous management teams.
