Not sure what steven is talking about, i checkd his blog and nothing on there about the blue boar, obvously if he had bad customer service he must have been rude to receive it, all the staff are friendly and landlord and landlady are fantastic.
Also not only do they have the best karaoke in town they now have a brilliant disco on fridays, it made me tap my feet anyway lol

I just wanted to add that i visit the blue boar 2-3 times a week and i enjoy the atmos, they have a great karaoke on tuesdays by the best in abingdon Darius, very good singer and occasionly sings whitney houston and hits the high bits aswell, he should have his own records but he would miss abingdon too much, as i was saying its a great pub and i have to disagree with the other messages abouts zim, she is a great barlady and i can only assume they have a personal problem, perhaps because they is very ugly and zim is also a model as in cat walks, so all in all great pub and if you are lucky to get served by zim give her a tip.

i went to the blue boar after so many good reviews and i was greeted by the sexiest barman i think his name was tom and we got on really well but then at 6 oclock the moodiest girl took over on the bar and i was obligated to leave cause she made me cry. but thomas and i have been seeing each other ever since and our relationship has moved to a new level. so go to the blue boar when that moody cow zim isnt working. food is great.

i was very much excited about visting the blue boar after hearing so many poistive comments about the food and the staff. however, on arrival i was greeted by an absolute moody cow- i think her name was zim apart from that the pub was brilliant and i had no faults with either the rest of the staff (especially tom- hes amazing) i will return to again- good value food and beer- with a nice garden
please go and find out for yourselves

This pub is the best the only thing ruining it is the moody bitch behind the bar (ZIM)!!! Gets packed at the weekends and also when tom is on the bar (everyone loves tom!!). Try coming in on a tuesday because zim is not working!!!
clean and friendly atmosphere.
P.S.. do not approach a skinny dark haired moddy cow if you come in!!! love ????

the bar is brilliant- the staff are great- there is 1 moody barlady (zimmy i think her name is) but the rest are fab- go in there alot- theres a really fit barman called tom that works there- and the kebabs across the road are good, although the food in the pub is great aswell...
prices have gone up now- cus i think the land lady has bought it herself- but still great
karaoke tuesdays, and disco at weekends
